CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNCILMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 1:30 p.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall June 3, 2003 WARDS Roll Call: In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Adkison called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no comments presented at this time. CLOSED SESSIONS The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.8 to instruct the City's Negotiator, Mel Gutierrez, regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange, or lease of (a) 3138-3140 Prospect Avenue and 4610-4628 Vine Street; and (b) 2650-2664 Third Street; by Steve Favaro and Jim Franklin, Negotiators, respectively; and (2) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Michael Ingels v. City of Riverside - WCAB Claim No. RIV 45624 and 45625. City Attorney Priamos announced there were no reportable actions taken. RECESS The City Council recessed at 2 p.m. and reconvened in the Art Pick Council Chamber at 2:30 p.m. with Mayor Loveridge presiding. WORKSHOP FISCAL YEAR 2003-04 PRELIMINARY ANNUAL BUDGET REVIEW - CON- TINUED IN PART TO LATER IN THE DAY Management and Budget Director Jim Smith presented an overview of the Fiscal Year 2003-04 Preliminary Annual Budget. CITY CLERK Following discussion, the City Council tentatively approved the proposed Fiscal Year 2003-04 Budget of the City Clerk's Office. MUSEUM DEPARTMENT Following discussion, the City Council tentatively approved the proposed Fiscal Year 2003-04 Budget of the Museum Department. CITY ATTORNEY Following discussion, the City Council tentatively approved the proposed Fiscal Year 2003-04 Budget of the City Attorney's Office.
