City of <br />Riverside - USDC Case No. EDCV97-0237; (2) §54956.9 to confer with <br />and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Daniel Hovanec v. City <br />of Riverside - WCAB Case No. RIV 0039892; (3) §54956.8 to instruct the <br />City's Negotiator, Bob Hall, regarding price and terms of payment for the <br />purchase, sale, exchange, or lease of 3604 Ninth Street by Stewart Dever <br />Button, Negotiator. The closed session pursuant to Government Code <br />§54956.8 to instruct the City's Negotiators, George A. Caravalho and Michael <br />J. Beck, regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, <br />exchange, or lese of 1441 Massachusetts Avenue; 2770Topaz Drive; <br />2680 Topaz Drive; 1421 Massachusetts Avenue; 2831 Turquoise Street; and <br />2801 Turquoise Street; by lan Y. Nguyen; Delbert L. Schroeder; Ernest M. <br />Ulfig; lan Y. Nguyen; Edwin G. and Maria C. Cube; and Gustavo and Cirilo <br />Perez, Negotiators, respectively, was continued to later in the day (see Page <br />88-395. The closed sessions pursuant to Government Code §54957 for <br />(1) performance evaluation of the City Manager was continued for one week; <br />and (2) performance evaluation of the City Clerk was continued for two <br />weeks. No reportable action was taken. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />CASE P03-0118 - PARCEL MAP 31139 - SYCAMORE CANYON/SIERRA <br />RIDGE <br />Hearing was called on the proposal of KCT Consultants, Inc., on behalf of <br />Sycamore Title Holding Corporation, to subdivide approximately 96 vacant <br />acres into eight parcels, situated at the northeast corner of Sycamore Canyon <br />Boulevard and Sierra Ridge Drive, in Zone MP. No one spoke regarding the <br />project. No written protests were presented. Following discussion, the public <br />hearing was officially closed. The City Council (1) upheld the action of the <br />Planning Commission in approving Case P03-0118 (Parcel Map 31139) with <br />modifications and subject to conditions; (2) approved the staff report and <br />environmental assessment as findings; (3) upheld the Planning Commission's <br />determination that the project will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment and concurred in the adoption of a Mitigated Negative <br />88-392 <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br /> <br />
