Corrected <br /> <br /> 1 ORDINANCE NO. 6272 <br /> <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br /> RELATING TO CITATIONS ISSUED TO JIIVENILES, JUVENILE <br /> 3 LOITERING VIOLATIONS, AND COST RECOVERY <br /> 4 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does <br /> 5 ordain as follows: <br /> 6 Section 1: Title 9 of the Riverside Municipal Code is <br /> 7 amended by adding a new Chapter 9.10 to read as follows: <br /> 8 C}{APTER 9.10 DAYTIME LOITERING BY MINORS <br /> 9 Sections: <br /> <br /> 10 9.10.010 Daytime Loitering by Minors <br /> 9.10.020 Infractions and Penalties <br /> 11 9.10.030 Minor Curfew, Loitering or Willful Misconduct-- <br /> Cost Recovery <br /> 12 9.10.040 Severability <br /> 13 9.10.010 DAYTIME LOITERING BY MINORS. It is unlawful for <br /> 14 any minor under the age of eighteen years, who is subject to <br /> <br />15 compulsory education or to compulsory continuation education to <br />16 loiter, idle, wander, or be in or upon the public streets, <br />17 highways, roads, alleys, parks, playgrounds, or other public <br />18 grounds, public places, vacant buildings, or any unsupervised <br />19 place during the operating school hours of the juvenile offender's <br />20 school on days when the juvenile offender's school is in session. <br />21 This section does not apply: <br />22 (1) When the minor is accompanied by his or her parent, <br />23 guardian or other adult person having the care or custody of this <br />24 minor; or <br />25 (2) When the minor is on an emergency errand directed by <br />26 his or her parent or guardian or other adult person having care or <br />27 custody of the minor; or <br />~torney's O~ce <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 F:~WPDATAkO~k95193001.JB <br /> <br /> <br />
