RESOLUTION NO. 713 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE RIVERSIDE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />APPROVING THE TRANSMITTAL OF THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND <br />THE DRAFT REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, AND AFFIRMING THE <br />TRANS1VE[TTAL OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, FOR <br />THE PROPOSED HUNTER PARIrJNORTHSIDE REDEVLOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Riverside Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") has initiated <br />proceedings to adopt a Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Hunter Park/Northside <br />Redevelopment Project (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared a Preliminary Report, Draft Environmental <br />Impact Report (the "Draft EIR"), and Draft Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Project; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Preliminary Report and the Draft Redevelopment Plan have been <br />prepared pursuant to the requirements of the Community Redevelopment Law (Health and <br />Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Draft EIR was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resource Code Section 21000 et seq.) and the <br />Community Redevelopment Law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Preliminary Report shall be transmitted to each affected taxing entity <br />in accordance with Section 33344.5 of the Community Redevelopment Law, and the Draft <br />EIR shall be transmitted to each affected taxing agency in accordance with Section 33333.3 <br />of the Community Redevelopment Law and to each responsible agency in accordance with <br />the California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is recommended that a copy of the Draft Redevelopment Plan be sent <br />to each affected taxing entity along with the Preliminary Report; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33346 of the Community Redevelopment Law requires that the <br />Draft Redevelopment Plan be submitted to the Riverside Planning Commission (the <br />Planning Commission") for its report and recommendation with regard to the conformity of <br />the Redevelopment Plan with the Riverside General Plan; and <br /> <br /> <br />
