CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNCILMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 2:30 p.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall March 25, 2003 Roll Call: In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Adkison called the meeting to order at 2:35 p.m. Councilmember Hart arrived during the following discussion. DISCUSSION CALENDAR JOINT ITEM WITH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY WORKFORCE HOUSING LOAN AND ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT - 1401 SATINWOOD Following discussion, the City Council (1) approved the sale of the Breezewood Apartments; and (2) conceptually approved the Workforce Housing Loan and Assignment Agreement with KDF Communities, Inc., with the terms outlined in the written staff report and with the understanding that staff will return to the City Council within 60 days with a formal agreement for the purchase of the Breezewood Apartments at 1401 Satinwood Court. CLOSED SESSION The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Niomi Johnson v. City of Riverside - WCAB Case No. 02-00-67. The City Attorney announced there was no reportable action on the closed session. The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. WORKSHOPS Mayor Loveridge arrived during the following discussion, assumed the Chair and presided. RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL MUSEUM 2002-07 STRATEGIC PLAN Following discussion relative to the Riverside Municipal Museum 2002-07 Strategic Plan, the City Council (1) received and ordered~ filed the report; (2) directed the Museum Board to move forward with implbmentation of the Museum 2002-07 Strategic Plan; and (3) authorized moving forward with site identification, costs, and possible funding for construction of a new museum facility. COMMUNITY VISIONING AND CITYWIDE STRATEGIC PLAN Following discussion, the City Council (1) received and ordered filed the report on the relationship between the Community Visioning and Citywide Strategic Plans; and (2) requested a review every four months of one of the components of the Community Visioning Plan. 88-329 WARDS Present Motion Second All Ayes Motion Second All Ayes Motion Second All Ayes
