PJ A r F R F N F R c v L I F E <br />RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />W& <br />P U B L I C U T I L I T I E S <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />Board Memorandum <br />DATE: June 10, 2019 <br />ITEM NO: 21 <br />SUBJECT: RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFER OF APPROXIMATELY 1.02 ACRES OF <br />VACANT LAND LOCATED ON NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN LINE OF CHASE ROAD, <br />KNOWN AS RIVERSIDE WATER COMPANY LOWER CANAL ASSESSOR'S PARCEL <br />NUMBERS 246-220-011 & 246-230-013 FROM RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />DEPARTMENT — WATER DIVISION TO COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMENT FOR NORTHSIDE HERITAGE MEADOWS URBAN GREENING GRANT <br />PROJECT AT CURRENT FAIR MARKET VALUE OF $11,000 <br />ISSUE: <br />Recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution approving the transfer of approximately 1.02 acres of <br />vacant land located on the Northern and Southern line of Chase Road, known as Riverside Water <br />Company Lower Canal Assessor's Parcel Numbers 246-220-011 & 246-230-013 from Riverside Public <br />Utilities Department — Water Division to the Community & Economic Development Department for the <br />development of the Northside Heritage Meadows Urban Greening Grant Project at current fair market value <br />of $11,000. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />That the Board of Public Utilities: <br />1. Recommend that the City Council adopt a Resolution approving the transfer of approximately 1.02 <br />acres of vacant land located on the Northern and Southern line of Chase Road, known as Riverside <br />Water Company Lower Canal Assessor's Parcel Numbers 246-220-011 & 246-230-013 from <br />Riverside Public Utilities Department —Water Division to the Community & Economic Development <br />Department for the development of the Northside Heritage Meadows Urban Greening Grant <br />Project; <br />2. Approve the transfer of approximately 1.02 acres of vacant land located on the Northern and <br />Southern line of Chase Road, known as Riverside Water Company Lower Canal Assessor's Parcel <br />Numbers 246-220-011 & 246-230-013 from Riverside Public Utilities Department —Water Division <br />to the Community & Economic Development Department at current fair market value of $11,000; <br />and <br />3. Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute any <br />necessary agreements, including making minor non -substantive changes, and to sign all <br />documents and instruments necessary to complete the transaction. <br />
