CRITERIA FOR VENDORS ON THE MAIN STREET MALL - DISCUSSION <br />Attending: Terri Thompson, Maureen Kane, Ameal Moore, <br />Deen Teer, Steve Gibson, Chris Richardson, <br />Marvin Lea <br />Steve Gibson and Chris Richardson from the Riverside Downtown <br />Association met with the Committee to discuss generally the <br />issues regarding the Association's management of the Main <br />Street Mall. <br />ACTION: <br />Nominal fee to help with maintenance of Mall will be charged <br />to entities wishing to use space on the Mall. <br />Encourage businesses that will attract pedestrians.. <br />Minimum of smallsquare footage that is free. <br />A -frames will become legal in the downtown. May be considered <br />for other areas of the City. This item will come to Council <br />shortly. <br />Area between 5th and 9th Streets falls under RDA jurisdiction. <br />2. 1994 FIREWORKS SHOW <br />Attending: Terri Thompson, Maureen Kane, Ameal Moore, <br />Deen Teer, Ron Reese <br />Robert Caran Productions has presented the show in the past. <br />Two shows are proposed: Norte Vista High School and Mt. <br />Rubidoux. <br />ACTION: <br />$28,000 budgeted, $4,000 short of the $32,000 budgeted in the <br />past. <br />Utility bill stuffer asking community to donate funds. <br />
