TO MUSEUM BOARD <br />A written report was submitted from Mayor Loveridge and Cha[= <br />person Safford of the Museum Board recommending that the City <br />Council (1) approve the creation of the task force as outlined <br />in the report for reviewing the Museum functions; and (2) di- <br />rect the task force to report their findings to the full City <br />Council on September 6, 1994. The Mayor reviewed the matter <br />and requested (1) the addition of Gary Bradley, Mary Alice <br />Cline, Knox Mellon, Jonathan Green, Diane Seeger, Susan Henry <br />and Bill Allen to the task force, (2) that Kathryn Safford be <br />designated as the chair of the task force, and (3) that the <br />City Manager's office identify and provide staff support to <br />the task force. Ralph Joseph, a Museum Board member, and Mar- <br />jorie von Pohle spoke in opposition to the recommended task <br />force.
