An annual li,stF pf parades and events <br />potentially affecting"b�sinesses•in Riverside <br />should be mailed in January of each year <br />b. At the time the sponsor pulls the <br />permit for the event or parade, a notice should. <br />be•sent to thepotentially affected businesses <br />C. Barricades blocking streets should be <br />put in place as late as possible on the day of the <br />paradel. or event <br />d. The permit should be issued for a <br />specific date and time with no postponments or <br />rescheduling <br />It is our understanding that some or all of <br />these recommendations are already a matter of <br />regulation or ordinance. If that is the case, <br />we want them enforced. <br />The Downtown Division, of,.the Greater Riverside <br />Chambers of Commerce hereby make -the following <br />suggestions on behalf of the business owners on <br />Market Street from 14th. to University. <br />a. It is suggested parades be held on Sundays <br />or holidays <br />b.. It is recommended that alternate routes "be <br />studied: ie: Lime Street/Victoria Avenue/Seventh Street. <br />Thank you <br />r <br />
