1 ORDINANCE NO. 6361 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 3.30.030 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL 3 CODE RELATING TO FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) TO PROVIDE FOR THE REVISED 4 PERCENTAGE OF COST RECOVERY LEVELS FOR CERTAIN CITY SERVICES AND TO ESTABLISH THE PERCENTAGE OF COST 5 RECOVERY LEVELS FOR OTHER CITY SERVICES NOT PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED IN RESPONSE TO THE ANNUAL 6 COST CONTROL STUDY. 7 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, 8 does ordain as follows: 9 Section 1: Section 3.30.030 of the Riverside Municipal 10 Code relating to fees and service charges is hereby amended by 11 amending Subsection (a) to revise the designation of Item 2925 12 from "Research of City Records" to "Specialized Report 13 Request", provide for the revised percentage of cost recovery 14 for certain services provided by the City of Riverside and to 15 establish the cost recovery levels for certain services of the 16 City of Riverside not previously established to reflect the 17 annual Cost Control Study performed by the Finance Department 18 and the determinations made by the City Council in response to 19 the recommendations from its Finance Committee and Public 20 Safety Committee, which Subsection (a) shall read as follows: 21 "(a) The City Manager, Finance Director and each City 22 department head, under the direction of the City Manager, shall 23 review annually the regulations, products and services of the 24 City and the fees and service charges imposed by the City or 25 recommended to be imposed by the City, and provide an adjusted 26 fee or charge schedule to the City Council for its 27 consideration so as to recover the percentage of costs Attorney's Office Street CA 92522 782-5567 F: kWPDATAkORD k 97046901.
