1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> <br /> 16 <br /> <br /> 17 <br /> <br /> 18 <br /> <br /> 19 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br /> 21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20343 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION 20043 TO AMEND THE <br />SALARY PLAN (TABLE 1) IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH THE SALARY RANGES <br />B66B, B76A, I29G, I35B, M83B; AND TO AMEND THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br />(TABLE 2) IN ORDER TO ADD THE NEW CLASSIFICATION OF ASSISTANT TO <br />THE CITY MANAGER, RANGE M69C; TO CHANGE THE SALARY RANGES OF <br />THE FOLLOWING CLASSIFICATIONS: BUILDING OFFICIAL - RANGE M83B, <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (NC) - RANGE B76A, PROJECT <br />MANAGER (NC) - RANGE B66B, REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGER - <br />RANGE M78A, WATER SYSTEM OPERATOR I - I29G, WATER SYSTEM <br />OPERATOR II - I35B; TO CHANGE THE TITLE AND SALARY RANGE FOR <br />SENIOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL TECHNICIAN TO TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE <br />SUPERVISOR - RANGE M55E. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a follow-up to a labor agreement with IBEW, the Human Resources Department <br />having evaluated the compensation for Water System Operator, and having found that Labor Market <br />conditions for this class indicate the City is below the average by 8%, an increase is proposed to adjust <br />the rate for Water System Operator I to $3,258 - 3,960 and for Water System Operator II to $3,772 - <br />4,584; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to implement the recommendations of a previous Council Report dated <br /> November 26, 2002, proposing a reorganization of the City Manager's Office, the new classification of <br /> Assistant to the City Manager is proposed with a salary range of $6,035 - 8,084; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of a recent retirement and the Human Resources Department having <br /> reviewed the compensation for the classification of Senior Traffic Signal Technician, it is proposed to <br /> change the title to Traffic Signal Maintenance Supervisor and to reduce the salary range by 10% to <br /> $5,440 - 6,623; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, having evaluated salary ranges for some classifications in the Development <br />Department and Building Division, salary adjustments are recommended to provide a 5% increase for <br />the Building Official to range $7,402 - 9,449, and for the Non-Classified Economic Development <br />Manager to range $7,049 - $8,999, and for the Redevelopment Program Manager to $7,049 - 8,999, <br />and the range for Non-Classified Project Manager - Development (Downtown Project Manager) is <br />proposed to be adjusted to $4,504 - 7,850, an approximate 2% increase. <br />/// <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 782-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
