Andrade <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />There were no oral comments <br />at this time. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />PLANNING CASE P19-0073 <br />— City Landmark Designation, Farm House <br />Motel - 1393 University Avenue, Ward 2 <br />Proposed historic designation by Alyssa Digangi of Bailey California <br />Properties to designate the Farm House Motel as a City Landmark. Scott <br />Watson, Associate Planner, presented the staff report. Alyssa Digangi, <br />Motion <br />X <br />Project Manager, Bailey California Properties, LLC stated they were <br />Second <br />X <br />excited for this project. She stated they supported staff's determination. <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />There were no public comments at this time. The Cultural Heritage Board <br />recommended that the City Council: 1. Determine that Planning Case <br />P19-0073, City Landmark Designation, is categorically exempt from the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Sections 15061(b)(3) <br />and 15308 of the CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with certainty that <br />there is no possibility that the activity will have a significant effect on the <br />environment, that said action is intended to preserve the historic character <br />of the building and site and provide notice of the historic status; and 2. <br />Approve Planning Case P19-0073, based on the findings in the staff <br />report, thereby designating the Farm House Motel as a City Landmark. <br />WORKSHOP <br />Workshop on the Mills <br />Act by Historic Preservation Associate Planner, <br />Scott Watson <br />Mr. Watson updated the Board on the Mills Act Program.
