CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNCILMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 11:30 a.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall January 28, 2003 Roll Call: LUNCHEON MEETING WITH STATE TREASURER Mayor Loveridge convened the City Council at 12 p.m. in the Spanish Gallery Room, Mission Inn Hotel, for a luncheon meeting with State Treasurer Phil Angelides. RECESS The Mayor and City Council recessed at 1:10 p.m. and reconvened at 1:30p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber with the Mayor and all Councilmembers present. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE There were no comments presented at this time. Mayor Loveridge excused himself during the closed session for the City Attorney's performance evaluation. CLOSED SESSIONS - CONTINUED IN PART The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957 for the performance evaluation of the City Attorney. The City Attorney announced there was no reportable action on the closed session. The closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957 for the performance evaluation of the City Clerk was continued. The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber with Mayor Pro Tempore Adkison presiding in the absence of Mayor Loveddge. WORKSHOPS Mayor Loveridge arrived during the following discussion, assumed the Chair and presided. CODE COMPLIANCE DIVISION PRIORITIES AND SCOPE OF WORK Following discussion relative to the Code Compliance Division priorities and scope of work, the City Council (1) received and ordered filed the report; and (2) requested staff to return in 60 days with a report on Code Compliance programs. POLICE DEPARTMENT MOBILE VIDEO RECORDING, STORAGE, AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM Following discussion relative to the mobile video recording, storage, and retrieval system for the Police Department, the City Council (1) received and WARDS Present Motion Second All Ayes 88-257
