CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />11:30 a.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />January 28, 2003 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />LUNCHEON MEETING WITH STATE TREASURER <br />Mayor Loveridge convened the City Council at 12 p.m. in the Spanish Gallery <br />Room, Mission Inn Hotel, for a luncheon meeting with State Treasurer Phil <br />Angelides. <br /> <br />RECESS <br />The Mayor and City Council recessed at 1:10 p.m. and reconvened at <br />1:30p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber with the Mayor and all <br />Councilmembers present. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no comments presented at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge excused himself during the closed session for the City <br />Attorney's performance evaluation. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS - CONTINUED IN PART <br />The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for a <br />closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957 for the performance <br />evaluation of the City Attorney. The City Attorney announced there was no <br />reportable action on the closed session. The closed session pursuant to <br />Government Code §54957 for the performance evaluation of the City Clerk <br />was continued. <br /> <br />The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber with Mayor Pro <br />Tempore Adkison presiding in the absence of Mayor Loveddge. <br /> <br />WORKSHOPS <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge arrived during the following discussion, assumed the Chair <br />and presided. <br /> <br />CODE COMPLIANCE DIVISION PRIORITIES AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />Following discussion relative to the Code Compliance Division priorities and <br />scope of work, the City Council (1) received and ordered filed the report; and <br />(2) requested staff to return in 60 days with a report on Code Compliance <br />programs. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT MOBILE VIDEO RECORDING, STORAGE, AND <br />RETRIEVAL SYSTEM <br />Following discussion relative to the mobile video recording, storage, and <br />retrieval system for the Police Department, the City Council (1) received and <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />88-257 <br /> <br /> <br />
