Recommended as a presenter or booth at Senior Day <br />• Discussion on Sock Hop event; approval or denial <br />i. Referred to sub -committee on events by motion of Commissioner Donahue, <br />second by Commissioner Broach, all in favor. Also, requested the sub- <br />committee put together a calendar of events. <br />• Sub -committee report on advocacy <br />i. Commissioner Broach asked about all Commissioners receiving a notebook <br />with standing rules. <br />ii. Requested contact information for City's Planning Department <br />• Discussion on advocacy of policy goals and objectives for the Commission for the <br />fiscal year 2019-2020 such as housing, caretaking, and transportation. <br />i. How to prevent senior homelessness <br />ii. Motion by Commissioner Donahue, second by Commissioner Whitehead, <br />each subcommittee to provide recommendations based upon their area of <br />focus. <br />ITEMS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION: <br />• Possible Presentations from: <br />i.
