Determined that Planning Case P18-0900 is <br />Motion <br />X <br />categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental <br />Second <br />X <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15331 (Historical Resource <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />Restoration/Rehabilitation) and 15303 (New Construction of a Single- <br />family residence) of the CEQA Guidelines as the project falls under the <br />class of an In -fill development that is consistent with the Secretary of the <br />Interior Standard's for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Exhibit 1); and <br />2. Approved Planning Case P18-0900, based on the findings summarized <br />staff report, and subject to staff's recommended conditions, with the <br />addition that staff discuss with the applicant the type of roof proposed for <br />the rear garage in favor of a gable or hip roof rather than a flat roof, thereby <br />issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness for the project. <br />PLANNING CASE P19-0062 — CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />— 3425 MISSION INN AVENUE, WARD 1 <br />Certificate of Appropriateness requested, by Tim Maloney of Community <br />Works Design Group, for the Riverside Art Museum, request to construct <br />an approximately 176 sq. ft. roof top restroom facility at the Riverside Art <br />Museum (City Landmark #18). Scott Watson, Associate Planner, <br />presented the staff report. Doug Shackelton, representing the Riverside <br />Art Museum, stated they were in agreement with the recommended <br />conditions. There were no public comments from the audience. Following <br />discussion the Cultural Heritage Board: 1. Determined that Planning Case <br />Motion <br />X <br />P19-0062 is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br />Second <br />X <br />Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 and 15331 because the <br />project is a minor alteration to an existing facility and is a Historical <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation project consistent with the Secretary <br />of the Interior's Standards; and 2.
