City of Arts &Innovation <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND COMMITTEE <br />Minutes <br />Special Meeting <br />February 20, 2019 <br />February 20, 2019, 2:00 p.m. <br />Fifth Floor, Large Conference Room <br />City Hall, 3900 Main Street <br />COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilman Mike Gardner, Philip Falcone, Jennifer Gamble <br />Steve Lech, Charles Tobin <br />STAFF PRESENT: <br />Mary Kopaskie-Brown, City Planner <br />Anthony Beaumon, Deputy City Attorney <br />Scott Watson, Associate Planner <br />Frances Andrade, Project Assistant <br />Chairman Gardner called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. <br />COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE: <br />There were no comments at this time. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR: <br />Discussion on modification to Historic Preservation Fund Grant general provision in regards to <br />extension requests and the consideration of Karen Stegmann's request for an extension to the <br />Historic Preservation Grant contract for 4957 Magnolia Avenue <br />Scott Watson, Associate Planner, stated that at the January 14, 2019, Karen Stegmann addressed <br />the Historic Preservation Fund requesting an extension of her Historic Preservation Fund grant, <br />which expired December 31, 2018. The Historic Preservation Fund Committee asked that a <br />special meeting be held to discuss possible modifications to the Historic Preservation Fund Gratn <br />General Provisions and Ms. Steggmann's request. <br />Anthony Beauman, Deputy City Attorney, stated that on December 16, 2014 the City Council <br />acted to establish the Historic Preservation Fund Committee program, they actually had before <br />them the proposed Rules.
