He also invited any interested parties to contact him via Janet Goeske Center. <br />PRESENTATIONS: <br />• None <br />COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATIONS: <br />• Shari Fleischman: Aging Expo February 9 at Riverside Convention Center was well <br />attended. Thanks Commissioners Van Doren, Tavaglione, and Jimenez for volunteering <br />at the Commission table. <br />• Cheryl Tavaglione: Table at aging Expo went well, would like to have handout of <br />resources to distribute at events like this. <br />• Sharon Whitehead: Black History Program taking place at Janet Goeske on February 20 <br />from 11am to 1pm. $5 for members, $7 for non-members. <br />• Vicki Broach: Commended Assemblymember Cervantes for pursuing AB 477 to include <br />Seniors in Emergency Preparedness plans for First Responders. <br />• Mary Van Doren: In December attended UCR citizens committee and spoke to College of <br />Natural and Agricultural Sciences Dean who is interested in pursuing an Institute on <br />Aging. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />• Motion to approve: Commissioner Bro04 <br />
