Participation was <br />encouraged by the commissioners. <br />• Banner: Commission decided to look into a new Commission banner. A stand up <br />banner would be preferable so that it will stand out at events. <br />• Senior Centers: Commission is concerned that there are no senior centers in Ward 5. <br />They are also concerned that the existing senior centers need to improve existing <br />programming. <br />ITEMS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION: <br />• Banner: prices and ideas for banner. <br />• Senate Bill on Medicare <br />• Senior Day <br />• National Night Out <br />• Orangecrest and senior centers across the city <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />• Meeting adjourned at 4:45PM. <br />
