Candice Assadzadeh, Senior <br />Planner, presented the staff report. There were no public comments at <br />this time. Following discussion, the Cultural Heritage Board motioned to <br />receive and file the report. There were no further comments and no formal <br />action was taken at this time. <br />PLANNING CASE P18 -0585 — Continued from October 17, 2018, <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />Certificate of Appropriateness for Replacement /Reconfiguration of historic <br />street light standards, Wards 1, 2, 3 <br />Certificate of Appropriateness request by Riverside Public Utilities for the <br />continued replacement /reconfiguration of historic street light standards <br />that are in poor condition and inefficient related to energy use with <br />Corsican replica street light standards and Acorn 23 -watt LED luminaires, <br />as approved for the previous phases of Area 1 (2012) and Area 2 (2015). <br />Of 1,225 existing historic light standards, 808 are proposed for <br />replacement, and all but monumental standards will receive improved <br />lighting. Jennifer Mermilliod, Contract Planner, presented the staff report. <br />Steve LaFond, Principal Engineer, addressed the Board. There were no <br />public comments. Following discussion the Cultural Heritage Board <br />recommended that the City Council: 1. Determine that Planning Case <br />P18 -0585 will not have a significant effect on the environment as it relates <br />to historic resources under the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) 2. Adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Mitigation <br />Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP); and 3. Approve Planning <br />Case P18 -0585, based on the findings outlined in the staff report, subject <br />to staff's recommended conditions, thereby issuing a Certificate of <br />Appropriateness. <br />Motion Carried <br />Board Member James Cuevas arrived during staff's presentation. <br />PLANNING CASE P18 -0810 — Modification of Previously Approved <br />Certificate of Appropriateness — Imperial Hardware Lofts, 3750 Main <br />Street, Ward 1 <br />Certificate of Appropriateness request, by Rob Dodman of Imperial <br />Hardware Lofts LLC, to modify the existing conditions of approval for the <br />previously approved Certificate of Appropriateness, Planning Case P15- <br />0249.
