1 ORDINANCE NO. 6429 <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br /> AMENDING SECTION 1.01.115 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL <br /> 3 CODE IN ITS ENTIRETY TO ADD THERETO THE COUNTY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST AS ONE WHO <br /> 4 CAN ISSUE CITATIONS; AMENDING CHAPTER 6.08 OF THE <br /> RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE IN ITS ENTIRETY REGARDING <br /> 5 REGULATION OF FOOD ESTABLISHMENT, FOOD FACILITIES <br /> AND FOOD HANDLERS; AND AMENDING TITLE 6 OF THE <br /> 6 RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO A NEW <br /> CHAPTER 6.09 REGULATING FOOD HANDLERS AND BY ADDING <br /> 7 THERETO A NEW CHAPTER 6.10 REGULATING THE SAFETY, <br /> OPERATION AND STRUCTURE OF PUBLIC SWIMMING POOLS AND <br /> 8 SPAS. <br /> 9 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br /> 10 does ordain as follows: <br /> 11 Section 1. Section 1.01.115 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> 12 Code is hereby amended in its entirety by subdividing and <br /> 13 identifying individual provisions and adding thereto a provision <br /> 14 which authorizes County of Riverside Environmental Health <br /> 15 Specialists to issue citations for violations of specified <br /> 16 provisions of this Code. Section 1.01.115 shall now read as <br /> 17 follows: <br /> 18 "1.01.115 Issuance of Citations. <br /> 19 The persons holding the following positions shall have <br /> 20 the power to arrest or to issue a written notice to appear to any <br /> 21 person who violates the ordinances, code provisions and <br /> 22 regulations as set forth herein in the manner provided by Section <br /> 23 836.5 of the California Penal Code: <br /> 24 A.
