AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF R1VERSDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDiNG SECTION 10.76.010 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE DESIGNATING THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS FOR STREETS AND PORTIONS THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 10.20.020 AND 10.20.030 TO REMOVE THE EXISTING 45 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON DAY STREET BETWEEN BOX SPRINGS BOULEVARD AND EUCALYPTUS AVENUE AND TO ESTABLISH A 40 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON DAY STREET BETWEEN BOX SPRINGS BOULEVARD AND EUCALYPTUS AVENUE. The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does ordain as follows: Section 1: Section 10.76.010 of the Riverside Municipal Code establishing, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 10.20.020 and 10.20.030 of the Riverside Municipal Code, the prima facie speed limits on certain City streets or portions thereof therein listed is hereby amended in its entirety in order to remove the existing 45 mile per hour speed limit on Day Street between Box Springs Boulevard and Eucalyptus Avenue and to establish a 40 mile per hour speed limit on Day Street between Box Springs Boulevard and Eucalyptus Avenue which Section 10.76.010 shall read as follows: "10.76.010 SPEED LIMITS.
