City of Riverside <br />Human Resources Board <br />City of Arts &Innovatior3 Agenda <br />3900 Main St. <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(951) 826-5808 <br />Monday, December 3, 2018 <br />5:00 PM City Hall - Art Pick Council Chamber <br />MISSION STATEMENT <br />The City of Riverside is committed to providing high quality municipal services to <br />ensure a safe, inclusive, and livable community. <br />The Human Resources Board is committed to its dual charge as representatives of <br />the citizens of the City of Riverside to make recommendations to the City Council <br />specific to personnel rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, review of <br />equal employment plans for the City of Riverside's Departments. The Human <br />Resources Board also acts in an advisory capacity to the Human Resources <br />Department on matters concerning personnel administration to ensure a safe, <br />inclusive, and productive work environment, which enhances services to the <br />community. <br />State law and the City of Riverside Municipal Code Sunshine Ordinance (Section <br />4.05.050) restricts the Human Resources Board from taking action on an item unless it <br />has been included on an agenda and posted at least 12 days in advance of a meeting or <br />unless the matter falls within one of the narrow exceptions. Consequently, any item not <br />listed on this agenda will normally have to be delayed until the item can be made part of a <br />posted agenda. <br />SPEAKER CARDS --If you wish to address the Human Resources Board, please <br />complete and submit a speaker card to the Secretary. Speaker cards can be found at the <br />east entrance to the Art Pick Council Chamber. Speaker cards will be accepted until <br />conclusion of public comment on the agenda item. In accordance with the Public Records <br />Act, any information you provide on this form is available to the public. <br />LISTENING ASSISTIVE DEVICES are available for the hearing impaired -- please see <br />the Secretary. The City of Riverside wishes to make all of its public meetings accessible <br />to the public. Upon request, this agenda will be made available in appropriate alternative <br />formats to persons with disabilities, as required by 42 U.S.C. §12132 of the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act of 1990.
