Cultural Heritage Board <br />Agenda - Final September 19, 2018 <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />This portion of the Cultural Heritage Board Agenda is for all matters where staff and <br />public participation is anticipated. Individual audience participation is limited to 3 <br />minutes. <br />2 Planning Case P18 -0643 (COA): Certificate of Appropriateness request by Robert <br />Lewis of the City of Riverside Housing Authority to demolish an existing duplex, <br />which is listed as a non - contributor to the Heritage Square Historic District. The <br />property is located at 3337 -3339 Fifth Street situated on the north side of Fifth <br />Street between Mulberry and Lime Streets, in the DSP- Res -CR — Downtown <br />Specific Plan- Residential District and Cultural Resources Overlay Zones, in Ward 1. <br />It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is <br />categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review <br />pursuant to Sections 15301(L)(2) (Demolition of a duplex). Individual audience participation is limited to 3 <br />minutes. <br />3 Planning Case P18 -0508 (HD): Proposed historic designation by Laurel Hampton <br />and Frank Rojas to designate the Bigelow's Bungalow, located at 4625 Glenwood <br />Drive in the R -1 -7000 — Single Family Residential Zone, as a City Landmark, in <br />Ward 1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board recommend that the <br />City Council determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to per Sections 15061(b)(3) and <br />15308 of the CEQA Guidelines as it can be seen with certainty that there is no <br />possibility that the activity will have a significant effect on the environment, said <br />action is intended to preserve the historic character of the building and site, and to <br />provide notice of the historic status.
