1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN <br />APPLICATION TO THE NATIONAL HOUSING TRUST FUND PROGRAM <br />ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BY THE EXECUTIVE <br />DIRECTOR OR HIS DESIGNEE. <br />WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />("Grantor"), through the State of California Department of Housing and Community <br />Development, has heretofore invited public agencies, including the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Riverside ("Authority"), to submit applications to the Grantor for the Fiscal Year 2018 <br />National Housing Trust Fund Program ("Grant") via a Notice of Funding Availability dated June <br />5, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, in response to this Notice of Funding Availability, the Authority wishes to <br />apply to the Grantor for, and receive an allocation of, funds from the Grant ("Grant Funds"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has determined that it is in its best interests to submit an <br />application for Grant Funds for the Mulberry Village Permanent Supportive Housing Project, a <br />ten -unit transitional housing project ("Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority shall submit an application to the Grantor to participate in the <br />Grant program and for an allocation of funds not to exceed Seven Hundred Fifteen Thousand <br />Dollars ($715,000) for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority is familiar with the terms, conditions and limitations of the <br />Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority is willing and able to conform to each of the terms, conditions <br />and limitations imposed upon such Grant to the Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the Grantor must approve said application and will require the Authority to <br />execute a Funding Agreement and other necessary documents upon approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Riverside, California, as follows: <br />1 <br />
