Orso <br /> assessor, County Clerk & Recorder <br /> <br />FACADE EASEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS FACADE EASEMENT AGREEMENT, dated as of June 4, 2002, <br />is entered into by and between THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA ("Agency") AND HAVADJIA HOLDINGS INC., a California <br />corporation ("Property Owner"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of this Agreement is to effectuate the Redevelopment Plan for the <br />Downtown/Airport Industrial Merged Redevelopment Project Area (the "Redevelopment Plan") <br />by providing for the acquisition and redevelopment of the hereinafter described portion of the <br />Redevelopmcnt Project Areas (the "Site"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Property Owner is the owner of the following real property ("Property") <br />designated as thc Site and which is described in the attached Exhibit "A" entitled Legal <br />Description and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the use, rehabilitation and improvement of the Site by the Property Owner <br />pursuant to this Agreement, and the fulfillment generally of the Agreement, are in the vital and <br />best interests of the City of Riverside (the "City") and the health, safety, morals and welfare of its <br />residents, and in accord with the public purposes and provisions of applicable federal, state and <br />local laws and requirements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the building is located upon the Site is a designated as Structure of <br />Merit No. 263 and preservation/rehabilitation is of direct benefit to the Agency and City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Agency and Property Owner agree as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
