HUMAN RESOURCES BOARD <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Monday, January 8, 2018 <br />Opening: <br />The specially noticed meeting of the Human Resources Board was called to order at 5:24 p.m. on Monday, <br />January 8, 2018 in the City Hall Art Pick Council Chamber by Vice -Chair Deanna Brown. <br />Present: Absent: <br />Claudia Rodriguez <br />Deanna Brown <br />Elvira DeCuir <br />Ha Nghia <br />Maureen Mitchell <br />Sherry Mellott <br />Sonya Dew <br />Colene Torres <br />Rosemary Koo <br />Stephanie Holloman <br />Public Comment Period: <br />• Jason Hunter spoke regarding due process and the Human Resources Appeals Process for <br />unrepresented employees. <br />Hearing on Appeal <br />1. Appeal of Discipline of Public Employee — Personnel Grievance of Christopher Rocco <br />• Deputy City Attorney Charles Mayr informed the Board that an agreement has been reached with the <br />grievant and no further action is necessary. <br />• Administration of Oath to Witnesses not performed because it was rendered moot by settlement of <br />item. <br />• No further items heard. <br />Adjournment: <br />• Board Member Sherry Mellott motioned to adjourn the meeting with a second by Board Member Ha <br />Nghia.
