Judy Eguez, Associate Planner, presented the staff <br />report. There were no comments from the audience. Following <br />discussion the Planning Commission recommended that the City Council: <br />1) Determine that the proposed project is consistent with the Final El for <br />the 2014 -2021 Housing Element Update /Housing Implementation Plan <br />certified in December 2017 (SCH No. 2017041039) subject to the <br />compliance with the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />approved therefor; and 2) Approve Planning Cases P18 -0008 (General <br />Plan Amendment) and P18 -0009 (Rezone) based on the findings outlined <br />in the staff report and subject to the recommended conditions. <br />MISCELLANEOUS PLANNING AND ZONING ITEMS <br />ITEMS FOR FUTURE AGENDAS AND UPDATE FROM PRINCIPAL <br />PLANNER <br />Patricia Brenes, Principal Planner, reported on the recent City Council <br />actions. <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of January 25, 2018 <br />All Ayes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />were approved as presented. <br />APPROVED Planning Commission Minutes — February 8, 2018 Page 1 of 2 <br />
