1 RESOLUTION NO. 9 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE REPLACEMENT PLAN FOR 3 THE CHICAGO-LINDEN PHASE I PROJECT. 4 WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Riverside ("Authority") has acquired 5 parcels of land within the City located at Chicago Avenue and Seventh Street for Chicago- 6 Linden Phase I Project ("Project"); and 7 WHEREAS, with the purchase of these parcels of land, the Project will require the 8 demolition of affordable housing units; and 9 WHEREAS, pursuant to section 33413 et seq. of the California Health and Safety Code, 10 the Authority has prepared a project specific Replacement Plan to more fully address the 11 replacement of affordable housing units; and 12 WHEREAS, it has been determined, and it is so set forth in the Replacement Plan, that 13 sufficient replacement sites are available; and 14 WHEREAS, the Authority, under the Replacement Plan, will provide or cause to be 15 provided replacement units to be made available to low income households. 16 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED by the 17 Housing Authority of the City of Riverside as follows: 18 Section 1. That the Governing Board hereby finds and declares that the above recitals are 19 true and correct. 20 Section 2.
