This letter is <br />to inform you that I have received the signed contracts, the authorized signature form, and we have the job <br />description(s) on file. Enclosed you will find a copy of your contract for your records and the necessary <br />paperwork for students to begin employment July 1, 2002- June 30, 2003. <br /> <br />Because of your timely response, we are now ready to post your position(s) and issue referral cards at the <br />student's request. Referral cards are provided to students that meet the requirements as stated on the job <br />description and are eligible for the federal work study program. If you decide to hire a student referred by our <br />office please complete a Federal Work Study New Hire packet (enclosed). Or, if you wish to rehire a student <br />previously working for you and have been notified they have been awarded their federal work study for the 2002- <br />03 academic year, you may complete a Federal Work Study Rehire packet (enclosed). <br /> <br />Please know that once we process the packet you will receive a copy of the hire slip along with a hand-written <br />timesheet. The Hire Slip will indicate the employees hire date and the amount of federal work study awarded. <br />Please keep these documents for your records. It is your responsibility to notify the student of their starting date. <br /> <br />Please remember, students cannot start working until you receive your copies of the processed paperwork. <br /> <br />Once again, thank you for all the commitment you bring to the Student Employment program at Riverside <br />Community College.
