Theresa Newham spoke regarding the <br />Ward 7 City Council appointment and the West Coast Blues Festival. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />LEGISLATIVE REPORT <br />The Intergovernmental relations and legislative update was not held. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br />CASES P16-0614, P16-0612, AND P16-0613 - MULTI -TENANT <br />COMMERCIAL BUILDING - 10910 AND 10920 MAGNOLIA - ORDINANCE <br />INTRODUCED <br />Hearing was called on the proposal by David Gilmore on behalf of Grae <br />La Sierra, Inc., to rezone one acre of a 1.37 -acre site to facilitate <br />construction of a 9,520 -square -foot multi -tenant commercial building <br />including entitlements from R -1 -7000 -SP - Single Family Residential - <br />Specific Plan Overlay Zones to CR -X -10 -SP - Commercial Retail - Building <br />Setback - Specific Plan, design review of project plans, and a variance to <br />allow on -sale of alcohol within 600 feet of a hospital located at 10910 and <br />10920 Magnolia Avenue. One person spoke on the matter. The public <br />hearing was officially closed. Following discussion, the City Council <br />(1) determined the proposed case will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment based on the findings set forth in the case record, adopted a <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration, and adopted an associated Mitigation <br />Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) pursuant to California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Section 21081.6; (2) approved Planning <br />Cases P16-0614 (Rezone), P16-0612 (Variance), and P16-0613 (Design <br />Review); and (3) introduced an ordinance amending the Zoning Map; <br />whereupon, an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance of the City of Riverside, <br />California, Amending the Zoning Map of the City of Riverside Pursuant to <br />Motion <br />X <br />Chapter 19.090 of the Riverside Municipal Code by Rezoning Land from <br />Second <br />X <br />R -1 -7000 -SP to CR -X -10 -SP," was presented and introduced." <br />All Ayes <br />103-67 <br />
