Marilyn Whitney, Theresa <br />Newham, Scott Andrews, Don Gallegos, Raychele Sterling, Kareen <br />Gongora, and Damian O'Farrell spoke regarding the Ward 7 City Council <br />vacancy. <br />WARD 7 CITY COUNCIL VACANCY <br />Following discussion, the City Council (1) continued the Ward 7 City Council <br />interviews and appointment to a special meeting to occur after the City <br />Council makes a decision on September 12, 2017, on how to comply with <br />Motion <br />X <br />State law regarding a change in regular municipal election dates; and <br />Second <br />X <br />(2) requested the special meeting be scheduled in the afternoon for the <br />Ayes X <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />Ward 7 City Council vacancy interviews, with Mayor Bailey voting Aye. <br />Noes <br />X <br />X <br />X <br />The City Council adjourned at 7:10 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />CO .
