CITY OF RIVERSIDE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Special Meeting of Industrial Development Authority 9 a.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall July 24, 2001 WARDS Roll Call: Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. DISCUSSION CALENDAR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS - A.M.E. MANUFACTURING, INC. - JURUPA/VAN BUREN - RESOLUTION Following discussion, the Authority approved the recommendations of the City Council Finance Committee and staff to (1) approve the Resolution of Intention for the issuance of Industrial Development Bonds not to exceed three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) in furtherance of the A.M.E. Manufacturing, Inc.'s, proposed construction of a new 41,600-square-foot facility on 6.5 acres of land located at the southeast comer of Jurupa Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard within the Airport Redevelopment Project Area; (2) authorize the City Clerk to publish the notice of receipt of the Industrial Development Bond Pre-Application and notice of a public hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the City; and (3) appoint Sam Balisy of Kutak Rock LLP, as legal bond counsel to assist the City in the filing of said Industrial Development Bond application on behalf of A.M.E. Manufacturing, Inc.; whereupon, Resolution No. 53 of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Riverside Making Determinations With Respect to the Financing of Facilities for A.M.E. Manufacturing, Inc. or a Related Entity and Declaring Its Intent to Reimburse Certain Expenditures from Proceeds of Indebtedness, was presented and adopted.
