Theresa Newham spoke regarding <br />Agricultural Park health screenings, the Ontario Airport, and Send in a Hero <br />video. Karen Wright spoke regarding elections and the Agricultural Park. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />LEGISLATIVE REPORT <br />The Intergovernmental relations and legislative update was not held. <br />PRESENTATION <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW AND EMPLOYEE <br />RECOGNITION <br />The City Council received and ordered filed the overview of the Public <br />Works Department and recognized the Department's employees. <br />DISCUSSION CALENDAR <br />MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY BAN ENFORCEMENT UPDATE <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the City Council received <br />and ordered filed the update on enforcement of the City's ban on medical <br />marijuana. <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR TRAUTWEIN AND <br />ALESSANDRO SEWER FORCE MAIN EMERGENCY REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT - SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION <br />Following discussion, the City Council (1) directed staff to create a capital <br />improvement project for the emergency rehabilitation of the Trautwein and <br />Alessandro sewer force main project for an estimated amount of <br />$4,800,000; (2) approved deferral of the following capital projects: Dexter <br />Wastewater Lift Station (#2017 -SSS -01), Fairgrounds Wastewater Lift <br />Station (#2017 -SSS -02), Rivercrest and Darkwood Wastewater Lift Stations <br />(#2017 -SSS -08) and Wastewater Collection System Upgrades (#2018 -SSS - <br />00); and (3) approved re -appropriation of existing funding from the deferred <br />Motion <br />X <br />capital projects in the amount of $4,800,000 to the Trautwein and <br />Second <br />X <br />Alessandro Sewer Force Main Emergency Rehabilitation Project. <br />All Ayes <br />102-294 <br />
