The <br />members of the City Council shall be from the even - numbered wards of the City of Riverside as <br />established by the City Council. <br />Section 2: That no polling places will be secured as said election is to be conducted <br />wholly by mail -in ballot. Official ballots will be mailed together with the sample ballot <br />pamphlet and a postage prepaid envelope for return of the official ballot. Voted ballots must be <br />returned to the Registrar of Voters Office or to one of the drop -off locations, at least one of <br />which shall be located in Ward Two, Ward Four and Ward Six. Voted ballots must be returned <br />no later than 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 6, 2017, or be postmarked on or before Election Day <br />and received no later than three (3) days after the Election Day to be counted. <br />Section 3: That the purpose of holding said General Municipal Election there shall be <br />and hereby are established consolidated voting precincts consisting of a consolidation of the <br />regular precincts in the City of Riverside established for the holding of state and county elections <br />as said regular election precincts exist on the date of this resolution. <br />Section 4: That the form and contents of the ballots to be used at said election shall be as <br />provided by law. <br />Section 5: That in accordance with Section 10002 of the Elections Code, the Board of <br />Supervisors of Riverside County are hereby requested to consent to the Riverside County <br />Registrar of Voters rendering election services to the City of Riverside as may be requested by <br />- 1 - <br />
