I <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />?R <br />Crnt ATroRNEY'R Omm <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />RIVERSM CA 92522 <br />(951) 926 -5567 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23124 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR AGENCY OFFICIALS AND <br />EMPLOYEES IN ITS ENTIRETY BY REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 22772 <br />WHICH AMENDMENT IS TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ADOPTION. <br />WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act, Government Code Section 81000, et seq., requires <br />state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a regulation, 2 California <br />Code of Regulations Section 18730, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, such standard terms can be incorporated by reference and may be amended by <br />the Fair Political Practices Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to amendments <br />in the Political Reform Act; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 82011(c), the City Council is the code <br />reviewing body charged with reviewing and approving the conflict of interest code for the City of <br />Riverside as Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside and its <br />Oversight Board. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />California, as follows: <br />1. The terms of 2 California Code of Regulations Section 18730, a copy of which is <br />marked Appendix C and attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, and any <br />amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission, are hereby incorporated <br />by reference and, along with the attached Appendix A, in which employees and officials are <br />designated, and Appendix B, in which disclosure categories are set forth, constitute the conflict of <br />interest code of the City of Riverside as Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City <br />of Riverside. <br />2. Designated employees shall file statements of economic interests with the City Clerk. <br />
