Fadakar <br />Ayes: All <br />CHAIRMAN’S REPORTNo report at this time. <br />REPORT ON MUSEUM OPERATIONS <br />nd <br />The Museum is actively changing out the 2floor gallery space to prepare for a new exhibit to open on October <br />th <br />6. The focus will be the African American experience through entertainment with an emphasis on known <br />performer/ actor Clarence Muse. <br />th <br />The Museum will be hosting events on Saturday September 24in conjunction with the opening of the new <br />National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C. The Museum received program <br />funding to sponsor the event. <br />th <br />Thursday September 15will be theinaugural meeting of the Harada House Project Committee. <br />th <br />The Annual Chinese Moon Festival event is scheduled for Friday September 16at Heritage Houseand will <br />feature dragon dancers. <br />DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS <br />2. Revised Presentation for Metropolitan Museum Board to use for Outreach Activities <br />Sarah Mundy presented and reviewed the slides for the PowerPoint presentation.The presentation will <br />be given to the Museum Board on a flash drive. The purpose of the presentation is focused on the <br />Museum and supporting Museum activities. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />3. RMM Board Harada House Project Ad Hoc Committee- <br />the first meeting of Committee members <br />th <br />will be held September 15. <br />4. RMM Collections Committee- <br />no report at this time. <br />5. Exhibitions Committee- <br />no report at this time. <br />6.
