GP-001-001 <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br /> 24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 20091 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br /> CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE <br /> GENERAL PLAN WITH REGARD TO APPROXIMATELY 9.7 VACANT <br /> ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF CHICAGO <br /> AND CENTRAL AVENUES BY REMOVING SAID PROPERTY FROM THE <br /> MEDIUM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL <br /> RESIDENTIAL, AND PUBLIC FACILITIES AND INSTITUTIONS LAND <br /> USE DESIGNATIONS AND PLACING IT INTO THE HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an application was submitted to the City of Riverside designated as Case GP- <br />001-001 to amend the Land Use Element of the Riverside General Plan on approximately 9.7 vacant <br />acres on the southeasterly comer of Chicago and Central Avenues to remove said property from the <br />Medium High Density (RMH), Agricultural and Rural Residential (RAR) and Public facilities and <br />Institutions (PFI) and place it into the High Density Residential (RHD) land use designation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside, California, advertised for <br />and held a public hearing on October 18, 2001, to consider the proposed amendment of the Land <br />Use Element of the City of Riverside General Plan (Case GP-001-001 ) and recommended to the <br />City Council that the amendment be approved to change the land use designation from the Medium <br />High Density (RMH), Agricultural and Rural Residential (RAR) and Public Facilities and <br />Institutions (PFI) land use designation and place it into the High Density Residential (RHD) land <br />use designation and that the approval of Case GP-001-001 will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside advertised for an held a public hearing <br />on November 13, 2001, to consider Case GP-001-001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council received and considered the reports and recommendations <br />from the Planning Commission and all other testimony whether written or oral, presented at the <br />public hearing; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, FOUND AND DETERMINED by the City <br />Cotmcil of the City of Riverside, California as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
