1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> <br /> 16 <br /> <br /> 17 <br /> <br /> 18 <br /> <br /> 19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20090 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 18528 KNOWN AS THE <br />PARKING SCHEDULE RESOLUTION TO PROHIBIT COMMERCIAL VEHICLES <br />WITH A GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT OF 10,000 POUNDS OR MORE FROM <br />PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF SYCAMORE CANYON BOULEVARD <br />FROM BOX SPRINGS BOULEVARD TO FAIR ISLE DRIVE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Riverside has received a request from Raceway Ford asking that <br />the parking of commercial vehicles be prohibited along the frontage of their property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parking of large commercial vehicles is creating sight restrictions and <br />traffic congestion for motorists using the driveways of Raceway Ford; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 2, 2002, the Parking, Traffic and Streets Commission held a <br />meeting at which a staff report was presented recommending approval to prohibit the parking of <br />commercial vehicles with a gross weight of 10,000 pounds or more on the east side of Sycamore <br />Canyon Boulevard fi.om Box Springs Boulevard to Fair Isle Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 2, 2002, the Parking, Traffic and Streets Commission approved <br />staff's recommendation to recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution to prohibit the parking <br />of commercial vehicles with a gross weight of 10,000 pounds or more on the east side of Sycamore <br />Canyon Boulevard fi.om Box Springs Boulevard to Fair Isle Drive. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Resolution No. 18528 establishing the schedule &streets and alleys or <br />portions thereof and the times and days the parking or stopping, standing or parking of vehicles is <br />prohibited or limited is hereby amended by amending the following parking schedule as follows: <br /> <br />PORTION OF STREET OR LIMITATION OR TIME ~AND DAYS <br />ALLEY PROHIBITION <br />Both sides from 600 feet northerly of No parking, commercial vehicles At all times <br />Box Springs Boulevard to Alessandro l 0,000 pounds and over <br />Boulevard <br /> <br />STREET OR ALLE~Y <br /> <br />SYCAMORE CANYON <br />BOULEVARD <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 826-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
