<br />11\ <br /> <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & Agency Members <br /> <br />Date: February 5, 2002 <br />Item No.: 6 <br /> <br />Subject: Request Approval ofthe CDBG Housing Rehabilitatiou Loans and Grants <br />(Eastside Area, City Wide and Arlanza Only) <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of their contract, the Riverside Housing Development Corporation (RHDC) has <br />determined that the following applicants are eligible to participate in the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation <br />Loan/Grant Programs. These applicants are as follows: <br /> <br />13060 <br /> <br />Rigoberto Vasquez <br /> <br />2275 5th Street (07) <br /> <br />ES Grant <br /> <br />$5,000 <br /> <br />$30,000 <br /> <br />ES OIL <br /> <br />Funds will be used to build master bedroom with full bathroom, construct new carport, install solid core door at <br />entry, GFCI receptacle in kitchen and both baths, range hood combination light/exhaust fan, new no-wax vinyl <br />flooring in kitchen. Replace existing kitchen counter tops with deck-mounted faucet and sink. Reinforce <br />foundation beneath and around toilet area and re-Iocate hot water heater to code. Riverside County Lead Grant <br />will pay LBP Rehab work to be completed by Watson Painting. Owner has Jived at the property for 3 years. <br />Yard is landscaped and well maintained. There is no history of previous loans or grants. <br /> <br />13080 <br /> <br />W. B. Barnes <br /> <br />4276 Pierce Street (05) <br /> <br />ALS DIL <br /> <br />$6,183.50 <br /> <br />Funds will be used to pour l8x9 concrete pad for draining system to prevent water flooding at back yard, provide <br />labor and materials to form and pour new concrete walkway next to driveway. Remove three (3) trees in back <br />yard and remove stump down to 12". Install three (3) security doors with new locks and three (3) new ceiling <br />fans in tow bedrooms and living room. Owner has lived at property for 5 years. Yard is landscaped and well <br />maintained.
