1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> 20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br /> 24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 20083 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br /> CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 20043, AS AMENDED, TO AMEND <br /> THE SALARY AND COMPENSATION PLANS (TABLE 1 AND TABLE 2) AS <br /> FOLLOWS: TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASES IN THE COMPENSATION FOR THOSE <br /> EMPLOYEES IN THE FIRE MANAGEMENT GROUP, FIRE CHIEF AND FIRE <br /> MARSHAL BY TEN PERCENT (10%) AS OF JULY 5, 2002 AND BY TEN PERCENT <br /> (10%) AS OF JULY 4, 2003; AND TO AMEND PARAGRAPH TEN (10) OF SECTION <br /> FIVE (5), SUBSECTION (C) PERTAINING TO TECHNICAL RESCUE OSHA <br /> TRAINING REQLrIREMENTS FOR THE RIVERSIDE CITY FIREFIGHTERS' <br /> ASSOCIATION (RCFA); ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MEMORANDA OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING ENTERED INTO WITH SAID GROUPS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, representatives of Management for the City of Riverside and representatives <br />of the Riverside Fire Management Group have met on a number of occasions and have conferred <br />in good faith exchanging proposals concerning wages, hours, fringe benefits, and other terms and <br />conditions of employment represented by the Group; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City management representatives and representatives of Riverside Fire <br />Management Group have reached an understanding as to certain recommendations to be made to <br />the City Council for the City of Riverside and have agreed that the parties hereto will jointly urge <br />said Council to adopt one or more resolutions which will provide for the changes in wages, hours, <br />fringe benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment contained in these joint <br />recommendations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Riverside City Fire- <br />fighters' Association (RCFA) was approved on November 20, 2001, but the attachments to the <br />report were incomplete, and therefore the language approved in the associated resolution did not <br />reflect the MOU; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Riverside, <br />California, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Table 1, Section 3, of Resolution No. 20043, as amended from time to time, is <br />hereby further amended by revising the Salary Plan for those employees in the Riverside Fire <br />Management Group, Fire Chief and Fire Marshal to provide for increases in the compensation for <br />the employees in said Group, Fire Chief and Fire Marshal by ten percent (10%) as of July 5, 2002, <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 826-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
