UVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />3p.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />December 4, 2001 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PLANNING REFERRAL AND APPEAL <br /> <br />CASE SP-003-012 - COLUMBIA BETWEEN IOWA AND NORTHGATE <br />3 PM.--Hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend <br />the Hunter Business Park Specific Plan to delete the requirement for a <br />minimum forty-foot landscaped setback on Columbia Avenue between Iowa <br />Avenue and Northgate Street (relocated). In conjunction with this case, <br />consideration will also be given the determination by the Planning <br />Commission that the project will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment and that a Mitigated Negative Declaration be adopted. No one <br />was present wishing to speak on the matter. No protests, written or oral, <br />were presented. The public hearing was officially closed. The City Council <br />(1) approved Case SP-003-012 subject to conditions; (2) adopted the staff <br />report and environmental assessment as findings; (3) upheld the Planning <br />Commission's determination that the project would not have a significant <br />effect on the environment and concurred in the adoption of a Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration; (4) found there is no evidence that the proposed <br />project will have any potential for adverse effects on wildlife resources and <br />the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis pursuant to Section <br />711.4 of the Fish and Game Code; and (5) requested the City Attorney to <br />prepare the appropriate resolution for adoption within thirty days. <br /> <br />CASE SP~007-001 (PART B) - COTTONWOOD <br />3 P.M--Hearing was called on the proposal of Stefan Lanthier, on behalf of <br />Moran Riverside, LLC, to amend the Circulation Element of the Sycamore <br />Canyon Business Park Specific Plan to terminate Cottonwood Avenue in a <br />cul-de-sac westedy of the 1-215 Freeway. In conjunction with this case, <br />consideration will also be given the determination by the Planning <br />Commission that the project will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment and that a Mitigated Negative Declaration be adopted. No one <br />was present wishing to speak on the matter. No protests, written or oral, <br />were presented. The public hearing was officially closed.
