Baldy Drive and approximately 4.3 vacant acres on the northerly side of <br />Alessandro Boulevard easterly of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard in the <br />Sycamore Canyon Business Park Specific Plan area from CBO to IBP. In <br />conjunction with this case, consideration will also be given the determination <br />by the Planning Commission that the proposed project will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment and that a Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration be adopted. No one was present wishing to speak on the matter. <br />No protests, written or oral, were presented. Following discussion, the public <br />hearing was officially closed. The City Council (1) approved Case SP-001- <br />012 with modifications and subject to conditions with language added to <br />Condition No. I "Covenant required prior to issuance of building permits." and <br />Condition No. 5 "Navigation easement required prior to issuance of building <br />permits."; (2) adopted the staff report and environmental assessment as <br />findings; (3) upheld the Planning Commission's determination that the project <br />would not have a significant effect on the environment and concurred in the <br />adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration; (4) found there is no evidence <br />that the proposed project will have any potential for adverse effects on wildlife <br />resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis pursuant <br />to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code; and (5) requested the City <br />Attorney to prepare the appropriate resolution for adoption within thirty days. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE RZ-003-012 - SYCAMORE CANYON - ORD. INTRODUCED <br />3 P.M.--Further hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to <br />rezone approximately 18 vacant acres westerly of Sycamore Canyon <br />Boulevard easterly of San Gorgonio Drive on both sides of Mt. Baldy Drive <br />and approximately 4.3 vacant acres on the northerly side of Alessandro <br />Boulevard easterly of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard to Zone MP-SP and <br />remove same from Zone C-3, with the City Council to also consider <br />supplementing the requested zoning with Zones S and X. In conjunction with <br />this case, consideration will also be given the determination by the Planning <br />Commission that the project will not have a significant effect on the <br />environment and that a Negative Declaration be adopted. No one was <br />present wishing to speak on the matter. No protests, written or oral, were <br />presented.
