CITY OF ,UVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNCILMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 3 p.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall November 13, 2001 WARDS Roll Call: PUBLIC HEARINGS CASE GP-001-001 - CHICAGO AND CENTRAL - CONTINUED TO LATER IN DAY 3 P.M.--Following discussion and without formal motion, the hearing relative to the proposal of Land Development Consultants, on behalf of Regional Properties, to amend the land use designation of approximately 9.7 vacant acres on the southeasterly corner of Chicago and Central Avenues from Medium High Density Residential, Agriculture and Rural Residential, and Public Facilities and Institutions Designations to the High Density Residential Designation was continued to later in the day. ZONING CASE RZ-001-001 - CHICAGO AND CENTRAL - CONTINUED TO LATER IN DAY 3 P.M.--Following discussion and without formal motion, the hearing relative to the proposal of Land Development Consultants, on behalf of Regional Properties, to place approximately 9.7 vacant acres on the southeasterly corner of Chicago and Central Avenues in Zone R-3-30 and remove same from Zones R-1-80 and O, with the City Council to also consider supplementing the requested zoning with Zone S was continued to later in the day. ZONING CASE PD-001-001 - CHICAGO AND CENTRAL - CONTINUED TO LATER IN DAY 3 P.M.--Following discussion and without formal motion, the hearing relative to the Planning Commission's failure to approve the proposal of Land Development Consultants, on behalf of Regional Properties, to establish an approximately 106-unit planned residential development with parking and private and common open space on approximately 9.7 vacant acres situated on the southeasterly corner of Chicago and Central Avenues in Zones R-1-80 and O was continued to later in the day. CLOSED SESSIONS The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) {}54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning the grievance arbitration of Greg Preece, Michael Alagna, and Wayne Stewart; and (2) {}54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding Fire, Fire Management, Police, Police Management, Public Utilities' Field Workers', Refuse, and General Units.
