At the <br />request of the appellant, the City Council continued the public hearing to <br />3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2001. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE RZ-001-012 - APPEAL - CALIFORNIA AND MONROE - <br />CONTINUED <br />3 P.M.--Further hearing was called to consider the appeal of Fuad Modiri, on <br />behalf of MTO Shahmaghsoudi, from the decision of the Planning <br />Commission in denying the proposal to place approximately 1.2 acres of <br />undeveloped land located at the southerly corner of California Avenue and <br />Monroe Street in Zone C-2 and remove same from Zone R-1-65, with the City <br />Councit to also consider supplementing the requested zoning with Zones S <br />and X. At the request of the appellant, the City Council continued the public <br />hearing to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2001. <br /> <br />CASE VC-007-001 NORTHGATE BETVVEEN COLUMBIA AND <br />PALMYRITA - RESOLUTION <br />3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of KCT Consultants, on behalf of <br />Sabert Corporation, to vacate the easterly thirty-three feet of Northgate Street <br />between Columbia Avenue and Palmyrita Avenue. No one was present <br />wishing to speak on the matter. No written protests were presented. The <br />public hearing was officially closed. The City Council (1) upheld the action of <br />the Planning Commission in approving Case VC-007-001 subject to <br />conditions; (2) adopted the staff report and environmental assessment as <br />findings; (3) determined that the proposed project will not have a significant <br />effect on the environment and concurred in the adoption of a Negative <br />Declaration; (4) determined that the project would not have an adverse effect <br />on wildlife resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de <br />minimis pursuant to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code; whereupon, <br />Resolution No. 20021 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br />Making Its Findings and Determinations in the Matter of Resolution of <br />Intention No. 20012; Reserving an Easement and Right to Construct, <br />Maintain, Operate, Replace, Remove, Renew and Enlarge Lines of Pipe, <br />Conduits, Cables, Wires, Poles, and Other Convenient Structures, Equipment <br />and Fixtures, For the Operation of Sanitary Sewers, Gas Line Facilities, <br />87-126 <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
