At the request of the Redevelopment Agency Executive Director, the City Council continued the public hearing to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2001. Council member Pearson entered the meeting at this time. CASE GP-001-012 - APPEAL - CALIFORNIA AND MONROE - CONTINUED 3 P.M.--Hearing was called to consider the appeal of Fuad Modiri, on behalf of MTO Shahmaghsoudi, from the decision of the Planning Commission in denying the request to amend the General Plan to redesignate approximately 1.2 acres of undeveloped land located at the southerly corner of California Avenue and Monroe Street from Medium Density Residential Designation to the Retail Business and Office Designation. At the request of the appellant, the City Council continued the public hearing to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. ZONING CASE RZ-001-012 - APPEAL - CALIFORNIA AND MONROE - CONTINUED 3 P.M.--Hearing was called to consider the appeal of Fuad Modiri, on behalf of MTO Shahmaghsoudi, from the decision of the Planning Commission in denying the proposal to place approximately 1.2 acres of undeveloped land located at the southerly corner of California Avenue and Monroe Street in Zone C-2 and remove same from Zone R-1-65, with the City Council to also consider supplementing the requested zoning with Zones Sand X. At the request of the appellant, the City Council continued the public hearing to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. CASE VC-008-001 - SLY. CORNER OF UNIVERSITY AND CRANFORD - RESOLUTION 3 P.M.--Hearing was called to consider the proposal of Land Development Consultants, on behalf of Allan B.
