CITY O}, IVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL COUNCILMEMBERS Minutes of: Time of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Date of Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council 9 a.m. Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall August 14, 2001 WARDS Roll Call: Mayor Loveridge called the City Council meeting to order at 9:10 a.m. following completion of the Redevelopment Agency meeting. The Invocation was given by Councilmember Moore. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. PRESENTATIONS Mayor Loveridge called on Riverside National Cemetery Support Committee Chair Paul Adkins who made a presentation to the Mayor and City Council in appreciation of their support for Veterans and the Riverside National Cemetery. Mayor Loveridge called on Acting Museum Director Dr. Vince Moses who introduced Sally Shelton and Ann Koski of the American Association of Museums Accreditation Team. Mayor Loveridge presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Police Officer Rodney McMillan, Public Safety Officer for the month of August 2001, who was honored by the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce at Good Morning Riverside. CELEBRATING RWERS1DE Mayor Loveridge called on Councilmember Moore to recognize Riverside Faith Temple Church Pastor Joseph L. Sims for the magnificent church property improvements and his continuing efforts to do great things for the community. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each item; with Councilmember Beaty disqualifying himself from voting on the item relative to the Ericsson Line Interface Module telephone system for Park and Recreation Administration and Community Policing facilities at White Park. MINUTES The Minutes of the Meeting of July 24, 2001, were approved as presented. PLANN1NG COMMISSION ZONING CASE CU-028-978 (REVISED) - 591 WEST LA CADENA The City Council upheld the action of the Planning Commission in approving subject to conditions the proposal of Jerry McComber of Santiago Construction Company for a revised conditional use permit to expand an existing manufactured home sales complex by adding a 2,400-square-foot, single-story, metal building in the northwest (rear) portion of the property at 591 West La Cadena Drive situated on the northwesterly side 87-34 Present Motion Second All Ayes
