CITY .riVERSIDE <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />9 a.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />May 8, 2001 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. following completion of the <br />Adjourned Regular Meeting. <br /> <br />The Invocation was given by Councilmember Defenbaugh. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Loveridge called on Gregory Shaffer, Local Programs Administrator for <br />Healthy Cities/Communities for a presentation to the Mayor and City Council. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items, presented to the City Council on the Consent Calendar for <br />consideration, were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to each <br />item. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meetings of May 1, 2001, were approved as presented. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-057-001 - 6293 TYLER <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Planning Commission in approving with <br />modifications and subject to conditions, the proposal of Ymel Quesada, on behalf of <br />Domingo A. Caceres, for a conditional use permit to establish a vehicle repair facility <br />for minor repairs such as tune-ups, oil changes, lubrication, accessory, and tire <br />installation and service on a 17,744-square-foot parcel containing two existing <br />buildings located at 6293 Tyler Street, approximately 125 feet south of Arlington <br />Avenue on the east side of Tyler Street, in Zone C-3; upheld the Commission's <br />determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on the <br />environment; concurred in the adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration; and <br />found there is no evidence that the project will have any potential for adverse effect on <br />wildlife resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis pursuant <br />to Section 7l 1.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />INSTITUTE OF MUSEUM AND LIBRARY SERVICES CONSERVATION <br />GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION <br />The City Council (1) approved the acceptance of the Institute of Museum and Library <br />Services (IMLS) Conservation Grant in the amount of $39,005 to complete the survey <br />of the Museum's major collections and facilities for development and implementation <br /> <br />86-346 <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
