This amendment would be <br />applicable to Castle Park amusement park at 3500 Polk Street and possible other <br />locations in the City of Riverside. At the request of the City Council Utility Services/ <br />Land Use/Energy Development Committee, the public hearing was continued to <br /> p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2001. <br /> <br /> '.ONING CASE RZ-008-001 - 4905 ARLINGTON - CONTINUED <br />3 P.M.--Further hearing was called to consider the proposal of Gregory and Nellie <br />Toumayan to place approximately .31-acre developed with a single-family residence <br />at 4905 Arlington Avenue, situated on the northerly side of Arlington Avenue <br />easterly of Valencia Street in Zone RO and remove same from Zone R-1-65, with the <br />City Council to also consider supplementing the requested zoning with Zones S <br />and X. The City Council continued consideration of this matter to 2 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, February 13, 2001. <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Kane disqualified herself from the following hearing due to a <br />potential conflict of interest and left the dais. <br /> <br />TRACT MAP 29606 APPEAL OVERLOOK/WYNDHAM HILL/ <br />ALESSANDRO ARROYO <br />3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the appeal of Matthe;v E. Webb, President, Albert A. <br />Webb Associates, filed on behalf of Dr. Yang-Chang Hong, from the decision of the <br />Planning Commission in failing to approve their proposal to subdivide approximately <br />75.56 acres into 33 single-family residential lots, situated northerly of Overlook <br />Parkway, easterly of Wyndham Hill Road, and southerly of the Alessandro Arroyo, in <br />Zone RC. The City Council also considered the finding that the proposed project <br />could have a significant effect on the environment and that a Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration be adopted. Two people spoke in support of the appeal. No protests, <br />written or oral, were presented. Following discussion, the public hearing was <br />officially closed. The City Council (1) approved the appeaI of Tract Map 29606 <br />subject to conditions but amending Condition 8 to require that the recorded covenant <br />for Lot 6 preclude further subdivision of the site; (2) adopted the staff report and <br />environmental assessment as findings; (3) determined that the proposed project will <br />not have a significant effect on the environment because mitigation measures are <br />required and adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration; and (4) determined there is <br />evidence before the City that the proposed project could have the potential for <br />adverse effects on ;vildlife resources and the applicant is responsible for payment of <br />Fish and Game fees at the time the Notice of Determination is filed with the County. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />86-214 <br /> <br /> <br />
