Ayes ~X:X: <br /> Not Voting <br /> <br />,The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Scott Lovely representing the <br />, iverside Chamber of Commerce and Phil Osborn representing the La Sierra Chamber of <br />|Commerce. <br /> <br />~ CONSENT CALENDAR <br />~The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />~thoSe items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for Motion ,X, <br />iconsideration with the exception of the adoption of the ordinance relative to grocery Second ~X, <br />unit pricing which was removed to the Discussion Calendar. All Ayes <br /> <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION <br /> <br /> CASE EPC-16-812 - PROPOSED LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS - CITY COLLEGE HANDBALL COURTS <br /> A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising <br /> that, on November 11, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 10 ayes to 0 noes, determined <br /> that the proposed lighting improvements for the Riverside City College handball courts <br /> would not have a significant adverse environmental effect, Case EPC-16-812. The <br /> Commission's finding was upheld by the City Council. <br /> <br /> PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE R-6-789 - ZONING CASE SPLIT AND TIME EXTENSION <br />;A communication was presented from Sandra L. Reichardt requesting permission to split <br />'he <br />, r property from the remainder of the property covered by Zoning Case R-6-789, relat- <br />~ing to property located on the southwesterly corner of Jurupa and Mountain View Ave- <br />,hues; and also requesting a one-year time extension from September 12, 1981, in which <br />,to complete the conditions of approval for Lots 1 through 4 of the subject zoning <br />'case Petition for a zone change was granted on September 12, 1978, and this is the <br />'se d request for a time extension on this portion of the zoning case. The request <br />,for the zoning case split was granted subject to the developer furnishing the required <br />~ vised legal description for Lots 1 through 4 of the property; and the time extension <br /> re <br />,was also granted to September 12, 1982, for Lots 1 through 4 of the zoning case, as <br />,requested. <br /> <br />~PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 17607 APPROVAL - SOUTHEAST CORNEE BOX SPRINGS BLVD. AND EASTRIDGE AVE. <br />Resolution No. 14569 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br />Accepting the Easement Dedication Shown on the Final Map of Parcel Map 17607, consist- <br />ing of one sheet, in the City of Riverside, Riverside County, California, showing a <br />division of Parcel 1 of ParcelMap as shown by Map on file in Book 14 of Parcel Maps <br />at Page 3 thereof, Records of Riverside County, California; together with the easement <br />dedication as shown thereon; and authorizing the City Clerk to attest said Map, was <br />~presented; and the title having been rend, and further reading waived by the unanimous <br />~consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted. <br /> <br />~PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER <br /> <br />~BID NO. 3347 - EVANS STREET SIDEWALKS, HCD PROJECT <br />'In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the <br />~Public Works Department, the bid of Angel's Construction Company, in the amount of <br />~$49,949.49, was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the <br />,construction of Evans Street sidewalks, an HCD project.
