John Roland, Magnolia Baptist Church. <br /> <br /> =The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. <br /> <br /> MIbFJTES <br /> ~The Minutes of the Meeting of November 10, 1981, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Vera Baum~artner representing the <br />~La Sierra Chamber of Couuaerce. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The followin~ items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration. <br /> <br />CITY PLANNING CO~4ISSION <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-8-656 (REVISED) - CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND CO~3NITY SETTLEMENT <br />ASSOCIATION - FOURTEENTH BET, BEPa~TDA AND SEDG~ICK <br />A commntcation was presented from the City Planning Co~nission advising that, on <br />October 22, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />conditions the request of the City of Riverside and the Community Settlement Associa- <br />Ztion, Zoning Case C-8-656 (Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to delete <br />~the required 6-foot-high masonry wall as required by the Zoning Code, from the north- <br />~erly edge of the parking lot to be constructed on the west side of Sedgwtck Avenue and <br />~replace it with landscaped mounds, and to extend a 6-foot-high masonry wall to be <br />~located adjacent to the multi-purpose building to within 12 feet of the front property <br />~line, on property located on the northeast side of Fourteenth Street between Bermuda <br />~and Sedgwick Avenues, in Zone R-2. It was determined that the City Council would not <br />|set the matter for public henring. <br />, <br />~ZONING CASE C-41-712 (REVISED) - K. Me DANIELS - 5089 BROOKLA~N PLACE <br />iA conmmnication was presented from the City Planning Commission advisin8 that, on <br />iOctober 22, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />~conditions the request of K. McDaniels, Zoning Case C-41-712 (Revised), for approval <br />&of a revised plot plan for a conditional use permit to allov construction of a room <br />~addition on property located at 5089 Brooklawn Place, situated within a condomlnium <br />project located on the southerly side of Dewey Avenue easterly of Streeter Avenue, in <br />Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse <br />environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the <br />matter for public hasfine. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-9-812 - B. CREEC~ - 1600 CHICAGO AVENUE <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Connmlssion advising that, on <br />October 22, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />:conditions the request of B. Creech, Zoning Case C-9-812, for a conditional use permit <br />~to establish, maintain and operate a g3nn facility within a manufacturing complex <br />~situated on the southeast corner of Chicago and Marlborough Avenues, located at <br />~1600 Chicago Avenue, in Zone MP; and deterudned that the proposal would not have a <br />=significant adverse envirornnental effect. It was determined that the City Council <br />~would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />=ZONING CASE M~-4-812 - P. LICATA - 1710 PALMYRITA AVENUE <br />~A conununication was presented from the City Planning C~ission advising that, on <br />~October 22, 1981, the Com~ission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />~conditions the request of P.
